Evelene Fields Belcher, 85 of Phyllis, KY passed Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home. She was a retired housekeeper for Buchanan General Hospital and of the Pentecostal Faith. Evelene was born July 13, 1936 at Nigh, KY to the late Richard Fields and Earnie Belle Fife Fields. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Vernon Belcher, three sons, Eddie Belcher, Stevie Belcher & Jerry Belcher and one brother, Alfred Fields. Evelene is survived by one son, Rickey (Sheila) Belcher of Kimper, KY; a daughter, Barbara Taylor of Phyllis, KY; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Fonso (Myria) Fields of Phyllis, KY and three sisters, Suetta Hill and Rita (James) Justice both of Phyllis, KY and Anita (Jim) Abshire of Kimper, KY. Visitation will be after 7PM Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Biggs Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 14, 2022 at 2PM from the church with DeWayne Abshire & Steve Byers officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.
