Zelva Slone, 63 of Pikeville, Ky. was born on July 4, 1957, in Pikeville, Ky. and passed away on June 13, 2021, at the PikevilleMedical Center. She was the daughter of Virgil Stanford and Lillian Luciel Fields Ramey. Zelva was a member of the Jesus Is Lord Church at Elkhorn City, Ky. and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son; Jackee Darrell Ramey. Survivors are her husband; Gary Gene Slone, brothers; Kimmie Virgil, Roy Kevin and Joey Keith Ramey all of Elkhorn City, Ky. and a sister; Zandra Thacker of Regina, Ky. Visitation will be from 6:00PM-10:00PM on Wednesday with a service at 7:00PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Elkhorn City. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM at the chapel with Fairley May officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace Family Cemetery at Kettle Camp, Ky.
