Frank Bennett Coleman, 84

Frank Bennet Coleman, 84 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Saturday January 30, 2021 at his home. He was a retired coal miner, member of the UMWA and of the Holiness Faith. Frank was born at Draffin, KY on August 30, 1936 to the late James Phinas Coleman and Icy Marie Stalker Coleman. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughters; Dianna Coleman, Debbie Marie Senters, Anita Rose, and Mageline Coleman, brother Virgil Coleman, and two sisters Dorothy Smith and Ilene Swiney, grandchild Kirby “Joey” Senters and great grandchild Wesley Eugene Brown. He is survived by his wife Lucille Looney Coleman of Elkhorn City, KY; his son James Bennet Coleman of Pikeville, KY.; two daughters Bernice Stewart and Madeline Ratliff both of Elkhorn City, KY; grandchildren, Robert E. Stewart Jr. II, Bobbie Bernice Stewart, Deborah Michelle Senters, Travis Eugene Brown, John Franklin Justice, Christa Lynn Coleman, Angela Hope Webb, Alexa Little & Nova Little; eight great grandchildren, Angel LaShea Stewart, Robert Ryan Stewart, Tiffany Dawn Little, LaDawna Faith Stewart, Joseph Evan Allen Senters, Keira Hope Brown, Josie Lynn Coleman & Jordan Webb; and two great great grandchildren, Haylee Stewart and Grayson Robert Stewart. Visitation will be held in the Bailey Funeral Home chapel from 6-10PM on Monday February 1 and from 8am-10PM on Tuesday February 2 with a service nightly at 7PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday February 3, 2021 beginning at 1PM with Plennie Gail Sawyers, Rick Fuller and Debbie Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at the Wilson Cemetery in Draffin, KY.

    We were so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. We will cherish our memories of him coming to the house to visit and talk. Much love and many prayers for Lucille, the children, and grand children.
