BL Blackburn, 50 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Thursday Oct. 02, 2014. BL was born Jan. 10, 1964 to Bob and the late Sarah Blackburn. He is preceded in death by two sisters; Vivian Coleman and Rita DeWerf and one Brother; Bobby Dean Blackburn.
In addition to his father, BL is survived by five children; Matthew Blackburn of Louisa, KY., Amanda Marie Blackburn of Belcher, KY., Joseph Nathanel Blackburn of Belcher, KY., Rebekah Lynn Norman of Elkhorn City, KY. and Jillenah Rashell Blackburn of Ashcamp, KY. He is also survived by three sisters; Nellie Blair of Regina, KY., Loretta Leslie of Blountville, TN. and Eileen Bostic of Phyllis, KY, 9 grandchildren and 1 on the way; Elijah Jacob Blackburn, Tierra and Emily McCown, Sharae Hamilton, Trevor and LaTessa Taylor, Jasmine Blackburn, Victoria Jayce Norman and Ethan Alexander Clevinger.
Visitation will be held Sat. Oct. 04, and Sun. Oct. 5, 2014 at the Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church on Pond. Friends may call after 6:00 PM. Services will begin nightly at 7:00 PM with Bill Conley and others officiating. The funeral will be conducted Mon. Oct. 06, at 1:00 PM from the church and burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY
