Zella Ann Bowman Madden, 70 of Rockhouse, KY passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Friday, November 22, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Everette Bowman and Delona Rosabell Mullins Bowman. Zella was a cook for Western Steer Steakhouse. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Hobert, Billy, Roger, Clyde, & Claude and sisters, Mollie Perry, Linda Burrell and Lois Irene Bowman. Survivors are a son, Chris Pigg of Hellier; and two daughters; Loretta Moreno and Jennie Rebecca Madden both of Rockhouse, KY; eight grandchildern, Tyler Pigg, Dalton Pigg, Cody Newsome, Sylvanna Rowe, Wattona Moreno, Donovan Newsome, Andrew Morena and Alivia Ratliff; and four great-grandchildren, Karson Pigg, Kolton Pigg, Addilynn Pigg & Johna Rowe and special great-grandchild, on the way, Everley. Zella is also survived by brothers, Dale Bowman and Joe Bowman both of Jefferson County, WV, Lewis Boweman, Auldie Bowman and Aldon Bowman all of Spotsylvania, Va and sisters, Emma Jean Beverly of Clintwood, VA., Edna West of Jefferson County, WVa, Buena Parrish of Bottomlee, OH, Bonnie Mullins of Harlan and Mary Miller of Loudon County, VA. Visitation will be at the Wolfpit Community Baptist Church after 6:30 Saturday, November 23 & Sunday, November 24, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 11AM from the church with Joey Sussan and Paul Finney officiating. Burial will follow in the Madden Cemetery at Rockhouse, KY.
