Alice Faye Woolwine Hardin, 66 of Elkhorn City, KY passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center. Alice was a CNA at Landmark of Elkhorn and member of the Elkhorn City Baptist Church. Alice was born June 7, 1953 at Pikeville, KY to the late Cecil Woolwine & Betty Castle Woolwine. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, James Hardin. Alice is survived by one son, Stephen Michael Woolwine of Elkhorn City, KY; a daughter, Melanie Lynn Adkins of Feds Creek, KY; and nine grandchildren, Santerria, Kayla, Lori, Michael Jr, Johnny, Gene, Madison, Gage & Chevie. Alice is also survived by two brothers, Bobby Woolwine of Elkhorn City, KY and Stephen D. Woolwine and a sister, Teresa Lynn Conley of Johnson City, TN. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 3PM from the chapel. Burial will follow at Dow Brooks Cemetery, Draffin, KY. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s.
