Douglas Belcher, 77 of Elkhorn City, Ky. was born in Pike County, Ky. to Paul and Beulah Mae Ramey Belcher. Doug passed away on Friday at the Pikeville Medical Center. He was an electrician for Elliott Contracting. Survivors are his wife; Retha of Elkhorn City, son; Tracy of Ashcamp, daughters; Trena Jo Belcher of Elkhorn City, Cassandra Ann Collins of Pikeville, Ky. and Bethany Brooke Kirk of Princeton, Ky., sisters; Joy Damron of Elkhorn City and Paulette Osborne of Elk Grove, Il., grandchildren; Colby, Tiara, Kyler, Emily, Bryson and Logan. Visitation will be from 6:00PM-10:00PM on Saturday from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be on Sunday at 1:00 with Frank Crum officiating. Burial will follow in the Ramey Cemetery on Little Beaver. Chapter 140 DAV of Elkhorn City will perform a service.
