Shelbia Jean Adkins, 82 of Pikeville, KY passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center. Shelbia was born September 28, 1936 at Wolfpit, KY to the late George Adkins & Thelma Coleman Adkins. In addition to her parents, Shelbia was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Lee & Leon Adkins. Shelbia is survived by her daughter, Terri Denise Morton of Pikeville, KY; three brothers, Randall Blake Adkins of Shelby Gap, KY, Ronald Gene Adkins & Harold Dean Adkins both of Regina, KY; and three sisters, Loretta Wahl of Regina, KY, Rosetta Hale of Elkhorn City, KY & Gracie Ann Ratliff of Wolfpit, KY. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Original Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 18, 2019 at 11AM from the chapel with Kermit McPeek & Gary Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Coleman Cemetery, Wolfpit, KY.
