Jo Ann Blackburn Damron, 83 of Lookout, Ky. passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on Saturday, July 6, 2019. She was the daughter of Henry Harrison and Stella Adkins Blackburn. Jo Ann was a member of the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Tommy”Bubo”Damron, brothers; Ellis, Wilford, Linton and Leo, sisters; Noma Duty and Verda Blackburn. Survivors are daughters;Gerri Lynn Swiney and Alice Elaine Looney both of Elkhorn City, Ky., grandchildren; James Thomas Looney, Wray Lynn Abshire and Mark Allen Looney, great grandchildren; Griffin Abshire, Sydney Abshire and Jonathan Abshire, Keneatha Looney, Jordyn Looney, Jameson Looney, Jadyn Looney, Brooke Potter and Mike Potter and 1 great great grandchild; Braylon Potter. Visitation will be in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00PM-10:00PM on Sunday, 8:00AM-10:00PM on Monday with a funeral service at 12:00 Tuesday. Ministers will be Ray Tackett, Edgar Sanders, Dale Senters and Oscar Damron. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Henry Clay.
