Trent just found out that your dad has passed away. This has shocked me and daddy as he’s had Ellis on his mind three or four days last week. This came as a shock not knowing so we could’ve came over. Prayers for you and your mom. So sorry to hear about this. Loved hunting and fishing years ago with him.

I always loved visiting Ellis and Dorothy. I liked how Ellis never let us leave without an icecream. I also enjoyed how he made up nicknames for everyone. He treated all of Kristy’s family like they were his own. He will truly be missed.

I know no words will help right now but all of you are in my prayers. I’m so sorry. I didn’t know Ellis well but all of the kind words I heard about him last night from everyone at the visitation told me enough, he was a good man that helped everyone and genuinely cared for people. The words I heard about Ellis reminds me a lot of you Trent. I can’t imagine the void this will leave in the lives of you Dorothy, Trent and Kristy. Just know that I’m hurting for all of you and I’m here if you need to talk or anything at all I can do. I love you guys and I’m praying for you all
