Bart was a true friend, who had a wonderful heart for the children of Jefferson County. He and Patsy spent hundred’s of hours working at the Field of Dreams Park for the children. running the concession stand, going and getting supplies, and what ever needed to be done. . Bart was so proud of his grandson Joey. He enjoyed coaching and watching him play baseball. Bart also helped out with the Jefferson County High School football team in many ways for several years. Bart was a very honorable man, and he was always willing to do what he could for other’s. I have no doubt that he is resting in peace with his Lord and Savior!! Patsy and family you are in my prayer’s.
    With Love,
    George Gantte

I’m so very saddened by the news of Bart’s homegoing. He was certainly a dear friend to us. I have some very good memories of the years we all fished & fellowshipped together. I know he’s visiting with Frank in heaven. You’re all in my prayers for comfort & peace. I’d love to be there for the funeral, but am a caretaker & not able to leave him.
