Judy Gail Akers, 56 of Ashcamp, KY passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at her residence. Judy was born December 30, 1961 in Pikeville, KY to the late Thomas Lee Damron & June Jones Damron. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Akers. Judy is survived by four daughters, Christina (Ralph Johnson) Goad of Ashcamp, KY, Carly (Todd) Slone of Lookout, KY, Casey (Joe) Coleman & Courtney Nicole (Kenny) Davis both of Elkhorn City, KY; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Judy is also survived by one brother, Thomas Wade Damron of Pikeville, KY and one sister, Patricia Thompson of Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 6PM Friday, November 9 & Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Allegheny Freewill Baptist Church with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 2PM from the church with Gary Hall and Ray Tackett officiating. Burial will follow at the Scott Family Cemetery, Lookout, KY.
