Hattie Bernice Mullins Potter, 65 of Ashcamp, Ky. was born on August 28, 1952 in Pikeville, Ky. to Homer Lee Mullins and Kathleen”Katy” Potter Mullins.She passed away at the home of her father on Wednesday morning. Hattie was a Maintenance Supervisor for the Tennessee School System . She was preceded in death by her mother Katy in 1997. Survivors are: Husband; Jackie Potter, Father; Homer Lee Mullins, a very special 2nd. mom; Jackie Mullins, Son; Christopher Easterling of Tucson, Arizona, Daughter; Yolanda Swaim of Tucson, Arizona, grandchildren; Lynzee Easterling, Zachery Easterling and Tyler Easterling, step children; Jody Potter of Jenkins, Nick Potter of Unicoi, Tn., Penny Johnson of Fleming Neon, Ky. and Jack Potter, Jr. of Lexington, Ky. Sisters; Enola Gay Looney of Ashcamp, Ky. Cathy S. Mullins Senters of Ashcamp, Ky. Sharon Miller of Mooresburg, Tn. and Denise Moore of Wytheville, Virginia. Funeral services will be held at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, 11:00 Saturday with Dale Senters and Edgar Sanders officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00PM-10:00PM on Friday at the chapel. Burial will follow in the A. W. Childers Cemetery on Elkhorn Creek, Ky.

My Best Friend since grade school & my Sister in Christ ! Hattie and I shared many secrets , many memories and many happy weekends together ! We both grew up in Christian homes and her Dad would correct me just as fast as he would Hattie, Her Mother Katie taught us both about the Birds & Bees. Sunday Dinners were often shared as our families were very close. God gained an Angel and I am so happy for her, She has no more pain, suffering, disappointment or Heartache. Until we meet again Hattie rejoice with our loved ones and watch for me. I Love you Michi
