Benita Faye Hurst, 58 of Jenkins, KY passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Whitesburg ARH. Benita was a member of the St. George Catholic Church, Jenkins, KY and owner of Apple Blossom Floral, Elkhorn City, KY. Benita was born March 25, 1960 in Jenkins, KY to the late Virgil Chavis & Juanita Hastings Chavis. In addition to her parents, Benita was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Rae Looney. Benita is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hurst; two daughters, Maggie Hurst & Heather Hurst; and two granddaughters, Emma Burke & Lila Adams all of Jenkins, KY. Benita is also survived by two brothers, Michael Chavis of Jenkins, KY & Ralph Hurst of Virginia Beach, VA. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11AM at the St. George Catholic Church, Jenkins, KY.
