Joette Pauley, 82 of Ypsilanti, MI passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at her residence. Joette was born December 12, 1935 at Bowling Fork, KY to the late Dell Bowling and Mabel Kilgore Bowling. In addition to her parents, Joette was preceded in death by one grandson, R.J., five brothers, William, Danny, Elmer, Billy Franklin and Edison Bowling & three sisters, Ollie Hopkins, Mary Alice West & Ruby Hopkins. Joette is survived by one son, Robert Pauley of Belleville, MI; three daughters, Laura Conway of Betsy Layne, KY, Betty Sue Glasgow of Dover, MI & Rhonda Scott of Belleville, MI; eight grandchildren & six great-grandchildren. Joette is also survived by one brother, Douglas Bowling of Bowling Fork, KY and one sister, Anna Rae Wyatte of Somerset, KY. Visitation will be after 6PM Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Bowling Fork Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11AM from the church with Jimmy Kerr, Estill Mullins & Chris Bartley officiating. Burial will follow at the Bowling Family Cemetery, Bowling Fork, KY.
