Inard Douglas Ramey, 73 of Steele, KY passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Pikeville Medical Center. Doug was born July 18, 1944 at Mouthcard, KY to the late Earnest James Fraley & Molly Myrtle Ramey Harrison. In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Nancy Wright & Margaret Ramey. Doug is survived by his wife, Billie Sue Mollett Ramey of Steele, KY; two sons, Inard Douglas Ramey, Jr. of Steele, KY & Kennith James (Eva) Ramey of Mouthcard, KY; and three daughters, Jeannie (Freddie) Smith of Shelbiana, KY, Bonnie Mae (James) White & Patsi (Steven) Ramey both of Steele, KY; eleven grandchildren, Jody (Jason) Brown, Jamie (Dustin Hatfield) Anderson, Timothy (Chelsea) Ramey, Jermey (Krystal Holbrook) Keen, Kirt (Tamika) Ramey, Keith (Belle) Slate, Coty White, Britny Ahmed, Amelia Grace Ramey, Ian Ramey & Canaan Ramey; and eleven great-grandchildren. Doug is also survived by two brothers, Landon Harrison of Mouthcard, KY & Jimmy Harrison of Louisa, KY and Ruthie Smith of Elkhorn City, KY & Ruby Harrison of South Carolina; and special friends Jimmy & Betty Mollett & Lewis & Virginia Hodge. Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 25 & Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 at the Big Rock Church of Christ, Big Rock, VA with services nightly at 7PM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 at 2PM from the church with Sam Casebolt officiating. Burial will follow at the Ramey Cemetery, Steele, KY.

    We were so sorry to see that Doug had passed away. He was always such a nice person when he brought Morgan in. We hope that you all can find solace in knowing that he touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all
