Lavern May, 78 of Buffalo Grove, Ill. was born on March 10, 1939 to Jessie Morgan and Erie Sanders Adkins. She was a CNA, member of the Baptist Church and the Wayne Newton Fan Club .  Lavern was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, John and a son; John, a brother; Jessie Adkins and 2 grandchildren Michael Shane Lechner and Jessica Morgan Bliler. Survivors are daughters; Rhonda Michelle May of Buffalo Grove and Terri(Scott) Bliler, sister; Lavonne Bingham of Buffalo Grove, grandchildren Stephanie and Ashley Jensen, 6 great grandchildren; Madelyn and Travis Nelson, Andrew, Chloe and Elana Jensen. Services will be on Monday at 11:00 from the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Johnson officiating.  visitation will be at the chapel on Sunday from 6:00-9:00PM.  Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery at Draffin, Ky.
