Geraldine Thacker, age 86 of Shelbiana, KY passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Geraldine was born December 25, 1931 to the late Shannon Sayers and Matilda Miller Sayers.  In addition to her parents Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Vinton Thacker. Geraldine is survived by 3 sons, Roger Thacker  of Versailles, KY, Johnny “Butch” Thacker of Shelbiana and Zachary Seth Thacker of Wolfpit; two daughters,  Tina (Greg) Clevinger of Harold, KY and Tangee Hall of Wolfpit,KY. Geraldine is also seven grandchildren; Renee (Scott) Sisk, Gerri (Matt) Adkins, Tiffany Thacker, Jaren Hall, Rachel Hall and Nathan (Kaelin) Thacker ; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Geraldine was a member of the Lick Creek Holiness Church and a homemaker. Services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11:00 at the  Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Sayers and Rick Fuller officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-10PM on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with a service at 7PM.  Burial will follow at the Wilson Cemetery at Draffin, KY.
