Loved this woman! Mrs. Mullins was an excellent teacher and role model to all of her students. Praying that God will wrap U all in His loving arms and give U peace during this sad time. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Madge will always have a special place in my heart. She was not only my teacher, my neighbor, but also my friend. After my mother passed away, she would often bring over a homemade pie to our house to go with the dinner I had cooked. She would also let me come and sew on her sewing machine until my dad bought mine. She was a jewel and Stephen, Liz and Morgan were her world. Love and prayers

I remember Madge staying nights at my house when I was a little boy. She was a friend to Geneva and Virginia Stamper two of my sisters. Her Sister Mrs. George was one of my teachers in the 8th grade. Clyde was also my 3rd cousin as my Mother was a Mullins. I also remember treating his Mother when I first become a Dr. I never did meet their Son but did have many conversations with Clyde when he was an attorney in Pikeville.

Steve, I just found out about your great loss. Sue and I both got to know her when my Mom moved to Waterford and what a classy yet “down home” individual who loved life, it’s people and especially her son “Stevie”. You and I got to know each other from visiting our Mother’s and I was fortunate to see Madge on a daily basis. She loved her upbringing and telling others about fried dried apple pies was topped off when I made her some, which brought memories back from her early life. She will be missed by all, but her memory will stay.
