Elmer Clyde Fields, 89 of Steele, KY passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center. Clyde was born February 29, 1928 at Jane, VA to the late Leon Fields & Ocie Lee Fields. In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Anderson Fields, a granddaughter, Elizabeth and siblings,  Cassandra, Alfred, June and James. Clyde is survived by one son, Danny & daughter-in-law, Diane Fields of Wittenville, KY; one daughter, Clydine & son-in-law, Daniel Branham of Steele, KY; six grandchildren, Kurt, Aaron, Jaime, Jessica, Chelsea & Katelyn; six great grandchildren, Randi, Levi, Oliver, Shelby, Arianna & Charlotte;  two great great grandchildren, Aubree & Luke and a brother, Jimmy of Georgia. Visitation will be from 6-10PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 2PM from the chapel with Lloyd Holland officiating. Burial will follow at the Colley Community Cemetery, Breaks, VA.
