Helen Kay King, 65

Helen Kay King, 65 of Elkhorn City passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at her residence. Kay was born May 13, 1948 at Lick Creek, KY to Fay Williamson Thacker of Elkhorn City and the late Curtis King. Besides her father she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Carol King. Kay is survived by one daughter, Kalena Potter of Elkhorn City, two sons, Curtis Wayne Taylor of Elkhorn City and Ricky Carnel Taylor of Mouthcard, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-father Allen Thacker, four sisters, Lucille Swiney & Phyllis Sykes of Elkhorn City, Tammy Holmes of Vero Beach, FL and Melissa Black of Dunedin, FL and three brothers, Kenny King &  Greg Reynolds of Elkhorn City and Jerry King of Somerset, KY. Visitation will be after 7PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the original Bailey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11Am from the chapel. Burial will follow at the Potter Cemetery, Elkhorn Creek, KY.
